Biography
Aidyn Zeinalov is a member of the Russian Academy of Arts, a recipient of the Academy’s Gold Medal (2001), a candidate of art history, and the founder and director of the INTER-ESSE Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, a foundation supporting research and educational projects. In 2018, Zeinalov was elected a member of the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno in Florence, Italy.

Zeinalov was born in Moscow in 1978. He studied under the renowned sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov at the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute. In 2005, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Architecture with a degree in architectural environment design.

Aidyn Zeinalov’s works are owned by the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, The State Tretyakov Gallery, Galleria Florentine Academy of Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Italy, and Florence’s Palazzo Medici. Monuments and sculptural compositions made by Zeinalov are installed in cities and towns in Russia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, and Serbia.
